Label Features and Products

FLEXOGRAPHIC

We maintain a number of flexographic presses using up to 10 colors processes or CMYK process. While we do not have minimum order quantities, the flexo processes are most economical for customers with large label orders. We work with our customers to make sure they are utilizing the most economical process for their order.

DIGITAL

Our toner-based digital technology provides you with great HD finish on your label capable of matching your color needs. In addition to the print quality, we are able to provide you with FDA approved labels, short-runs, variable, etc.

ULTRA-SHORT RUN

This service is ideal for those who are just getting started and want a professional looking label for sample/test products. For instance the size and shape options of these labels are limited but cover standard shapes and sizes. The turn around on these labels can be as quick as 24 hours from order to shipment.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE

Pressure-sensitive labels are used in every type of product and industry. A pressure sensitive label consists of a face stock material (paper or film), a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a release liner. The backing can be peeled off and the labels are applied permanently to another surface. They include indoors, outdoors, abrasion, direct food contact, indirect food contact, pasteurization, UV exposure, water, refrigerated, freezer, and chemical.

THERMAL TRANSFER

The most widely used printing process in the world for the printing of high-quality barcodes. The thermal transfer print process utilizes three main components: a non-movable print head, a carbon ribbon (the ink) and a substrate to be printed, which would typically be paper, synthetics, card or textile materials. Print heads are available in 203 dpi, 300 dpi, and 600 dpi resolution options.

DIRECT THERMAL

Direct labels do not require a ribbon to print. The labels feed through the printer and the printer applies heat directly to the label (hence the term direct thermal). While the print head runs over the label, it heats the label and a chemical reaction with the face stock causes the heated portions to darken.

PRODUCE TRACEABILITY

Making it possible to track produce from its point of origin to a retail location where it is purchased by consumers. In the event of a product, voluntary/involuntary your traceability solution will assist you in targeting the affected product, limiting the financial impact of the recall.

WEATHERPROOF

We provide label stocks and finishes to work in different weather environments (outdoor, refrigerator, freezer, etc). From label stocks, laminates, and adhesives we will make sure have the right label for your needs.

POLY LABELS

Plastics such as acetate, vinyl, and PET film allow a variety of features, such as greater strength, stiffness, transparency, and resistance to tearing. They typically require special equipment and printing methods (ultra-violet curing is common) as they do not normally print well with conventional ink.

Let us help you with your label design and printing needs.

FOIL STAMPING

The application of metallic or pigmented foil on to a solid surface by application of a heated die onto foil, making it permanently adhere to the surface below leaving the design of the dye. Foils come in a wide selection of colors and finishes.

EMBOSSING

The processes of creating either raised or recessed relief images and designs in paper and other materials. An embossed pattern is raised against the background. A debossed pattern is sunken into the surface of the material (but might protrude somewhat on the reverse, back side).

BIN TICKETS/TAGS

BAR CODE LABELS

A barcode is an optical, machine-readable, representation of data; the data usually describes something about the object that carries the barcode. Originally, barcodes systematically represented data by varying the widths and spacings of parallel lines and may be referred to as linear or one-dimensional (1D). However, two-dimensional (2D) codes use rectangles, dots, hexagons and other geometric patterns in two dimensions.

COUPON LABELS

Custom coupon labels are a great way to advertise rebates or offer instantly redeemable incentives for purchase on just about any product. In fact, products with visible coupons are more likely to be noticed on store shelves since many consumers are looking for new and different ways to save money. Conversley, your coupon labels have to look good and stick properly for it to be effective with customers.

CLOTHING TAGS

These labels typically indicate how the item should be washed (e.g., machine washed vs. dry cleaning), whether bleach can be used. Textile labels may be woven into the garment or attached and may be heat resistant (so survivable in hot-air dryers and when pressed). They also may be colorfast (so does not bleed onto the garment), washable, leather or PVC/Plastic. On the other hand, printed labels are an alternative to woven labels.
